Dave Roper: Amex CMX Range “Y ou may know Amex for its amazing range of plastisol colours,” says Dave Roper. “However, as printers, we are always asked for a certain Pantone colour. This is where the Amex CMX (colour mixing system) comes in very useful. With an easy-to-use Pantone matching system, Amex provides an amazing CMX range.” These inks are reported to have great opacity with a matt finish, along with a fast flash curing capability, good elasticity, and are low tack. They are also phthalate- free and vegan-friendly. The kits, available in 1kg and 6kg sets, come with spatulas, empty mixing pots, Pantone books and scales. Dave Roper offers a range of plastisol, water-based, discharge and solvent inks from both Amex and Virus. www.daveroper.co.uk
Amaya Sales UK: Kornit NeoPigment DTG Inks A maya Sales UK now offers a full range of Kornit’s NeoPigment DTG inks since becoming a distributor of Kornit direct-to-garment printing equipment earlier this year. “Kornit’s NeoPigment DTG inks are developed internally by their own team of chemistry professionals,” explains Amaya. “From development through to the bottling and shipping, everything happens in their very own ink plant using state of the art technology. With just a single set, you can print on the widest variety of textile substrates and experience excellent results every time.” Amaya also supplies DuPont DTG inks in bottles for refillable cartridges, reporting: “DuPont inks are the most reliable ink in terms of quality and washability.” The ink is sold in both 250ml and 1,000ml, and the company also sells DuPont pre-coat liquid in one and five litre bottles. Users of the Oki white toner printers can also buy cartridges from Amaya for both the Oki A4 and A3 printers. www.amayauk.com

Brother: Innobella Textile Inks I nnobella, the latest set of DTG inks from Brother, were introduced in September to be used with the new Brother GTX printer. According to the company, they “print with greater vibrancy and a larger colour range than ever before” and are said to produce prints that stand up to multiple washes. “The special formulation combats the chemicals found in typical laundry detergent and withstand the rubbing and scraping of zippers and buttons,” says Brother. “The result is a great looking garment that looks brighter, longer. Proof can be found in the AATCC wash tests, where our inks score 4.0 or higher on every test.” These water-based pigment inks are Eco Passport by Oeko-Tex certified, and are contained in replaceable pouches that promise less waste and less impact on the environment. www.brotherdtg.com
